Firstly, thank you for taking the time to attend one of the skill up sessions over the 3 days of 19th to 21st June 2024 via MS Teams where we outlined the standardised Pension Contribution Adjustment Process as agreed by the ETB Pensions Design Authority on 1st May 2024..

 

Following on from the skill up sessions, please now find attached the following documents which should be made available to the relevant staff in your ETB who will be carrying out these adjustments:

 

  • A compiled FAQ document based on the queries raised during the skill up sessions. We will keep this updated going forward if any further queries are raised.
  • The final slide deck regarding the Pension Contribution Adjustment process
  • A summary document on the Pension Contribution Adjustment process 
  • A document detailing the possible causes of the overpayment or underpayment of pension contributions
  • Quick Steps for processing overpayment or underpayment of pension contributions using the methods outlined.

 

I can also confirm, Quality Assurance have carried out the required configuration updates to the live system as outlined so the adjustment will now be visible on the payslips for payees.

 

As agreed, this is the new standardised process to be followed by ETBs when processing overpayment / underpayment of pension contributions going forward wef 1st July 2024.
