Subject: ETB Notification: Update to State Exam Pay Codes
Dear ETBs,
Please see below for two updates in relation to State Exam pay codes.
Pay Code
4773 DEFERRED EXAM AIDE J1 (Sat) daily rate has been updated to €345.20 in line with SEC circular S43/2026
4295 Exam Designated Person dailyJ1 new pay code created in line with SEC circular S45/2025 & daily rate updated to €86.30 (2026 rate confirmed with SEC)
(to assist visually impaired candidates)
The Pay Code Mapping document has been updated to reflect these changes.
