This employee was in receipt of her special personal rate. This is not published in a circular and is based on the annual salary and allowances (where applicable) that an employee is on, at the date of each hourly claim. This could mean that an employee is getting more than one rate per pay period, if some claims are before or after a pay increase. The rate is calculated as (Annual Salary + Allowances)/735 (annual teacher hours) = X *.88 = (Special Rate less holiday pay).
