1. Set up employee as a new employee on Core (using Part-Time pay group 300 range).
2. Input the employee's actual start date.
3. Input 'Hold Salary' so system does not output pay.
4. Add employee to PDIS as a New Starter and on misc tab to notify the Pay Ops team.
5. State the number of PRSI weeks the person is due on the PDIS, which for arrears is usually zero (as they had already received a contributory week when original payment was made). 
This information can be added to the PDIS and will be reported to revenue in the pay period in which the payment of arrears is made. 
6. Assign the correct pension scheme and relevant ASC status to the employee.
7. Manually calculate the arrears due and input on ETTO (note these on PDIS) ensuring the transaction dates are between the actual start date and end date of the employee.
8. Once employee has been paid, and pay period has rolled over, process the employee as a leaver with the actual leave date.

Please liaise with the ETB pension section to ensure pension contributions and service is dealt with if relevant.
