Removal of contract amendments:

Both future dated contract amendments and retro dated contract amendments can be removed while the pay group is closed for processing.

Removing future dated amendments will have no negative impact as the date has not been reached yet.

Retro dated contract amendments can be removed as payroll only looks at the current contract when it is processing, amendments in the past should be ok.

When discussing retro contract changes with an ETB, it's important to remind ETBs of the following;

When removing retro dated contract amendments, as there are retro changes occurring in the contract, the ETB Pensions department should be notified in case of under or overpayments.
