Recoupments for Dormant Employees:

An employee that has been overpaid and is currently on a Career Break, therefore is no longer receiving payments – Dormant Employee

Solution:
The ETB need to send the payroll team an email requesting a cancellation of payment, once all monies have been recouped, quoting:
1. Employee number
2. Employee name
3. Total nett pay to be cancelled
Payroll will then cancel the payment and this will be reflected in the submission files for Revenue.
The documents will be uploaded to the HIVE for the cancelled payments.
This also refers to out of years recoupments: eg from a previous year.
